Kim is the Senior Oasis Family Support Practitioner and is responsible for leading the Children and Young People team and providing information, advice and guidance to families in Lincolnshire who are or have been affected by a family member or close relative’s substance use. 

Kim is trained in counselling concepts, drug awareness studies and their applications, advice and guidance, safeguarding, and protective behaviours. Kim was very excited to join Lincolnshire Action Trust in 2015 as she believes in and was inspired by the work of the organisation. 

Working for the charity has given her the opportunity to build on her skills and experience in a rewarding environment. She says she is most inspired by the resilience of the families she supports. 

Kim has also recently had the opportunity to undertake M-PACT training which allows her to support with bringing families back together.
